INDIA VISA REQUIREMENTS

All American citizen & foreign nationals (including commonwealth) require visas to enter India except nationals of Nepal, Bhutan and Maldives. Visitors should apply for visa at the Indian Diplomatic Missions in their country of residence or nearest Mission en route.

Requirements for obtaining a Tourist Visa:

• A passport valid for a minimum of six months from the date of intended arrival in India (with at least one blank page available).
• One Indian Visa Application Form , filled out, dated and signed by the applicant.
• Two recent passport photo.
• A copy of round-trip ticket or a booked itinerary showing travel to and from India .
• A copy of your US Alien Resident Card for foreign residents and/or a valid visa or document to return from India to the US or to another country.
• Copy of Valid Drivers License or Utility Bill with applicants Name & Address.

  (d) Fee for transfer of 10 year visa to new passport - $38.00.

FOR BUSINESS VISA: Same as above but including the following:

• Letter of Employment, stating employee's name & title, contact in India, job description to be conducted in India, how long the employee has been working for the company, and assuming full responsibility for the applicant while in India.
• To obtain a 10 year business visa the letter from your company must explicitly state that you are requesting a 10 year visa.
