Visa for travel to Switzerland

Citizens of United States & Permanent Residents of the US do not require a visa for the following
purposes: Tourism, Study, Business & Medical for stay of less than 90 days. Stays exceeding 3 months
require a visa and resident permit.
Please note that the passport stamp "processed for I-551" is not considered a green card and that
general visa requirements would apply in that case. The same rule also applies for the "Notice of
Action" (Form I-751) and the "Authorization for Parole" (Form I-512).

Visa requirements for Refugees holding a blue Refugee Travel Document or a new green
BCIS-issued "Refugee Travel Document" (Form I-571).
A visa is required in all circumstances
(tourism, visit, business, transit through an airport, work, study). This rule also applies to Green
Card Holders.

Please note: Switzerland does not accept and recognize the white "Permit to Reenter the United
States" or the new green BCIS-issued "Permit to Reenter" (Form I-327).

All other nationals, kindly check with us to verify if you require a visa.

Requirements for obtaining a visa to Switzerland for U.S. resident only:

  • A passport valid for a minimum of three months from the date of intended arrival in Switzerland
    (with at least one blank page available).
  • One Visa Application Form filled out, dated and signed by the applicant.
  • International Medical Insurance Coverage.
  • One recent passport photo.
  • A confirmed round-trip ticket showing travel to and from Switzerland .
  • Proof of residency - US Alien Resident Card for foreign residents and/or a valid visa or document
    to return from Switzerland to the US or to another country.
  • If requested, a valid visa in your travel document for the country you are visiting after
    Switzerland .
  • Proof of sufficient financial resources: a recent bank statement or a letter from your bank
    stating your current balance. A minimum of $100 per day in Switzerland is required to cover
    expenses.
  • A letter from your employer including your position and salary.
  • Invitation Letter from friends or family fax over with copy of their valid status in Switzerland .
  • For Business Visa - A letter of invitation from the company in Switzerland directly faxed to the
    Swiss Embassy, and a letter from your company stating that you are going to Switzerland for
    business meetings and that they will pay for all your expenses.
  • Filled out & Signed our Service Order Form.
  • Visas fees for The Consulate of Switzerland : Check with us for the current fees.

IMPORTANT: Kindly provide an original and a copy of each of the above-mentioned documents.

Once you have the above documents in order please call us prior to sending documents. Make payment
