Visas are required for all visitors to Ethiopia . Except in the case of a few nationals. Passengers in
transit in Ethiopia , holding confirmed onward bookings within 72 hours, can obtain transit visas.

The type of visa that you should apply for depends on the purpose of your trip. The common types
of visa are Transit / Tourist / Business Visa . If your trip does not fit those descriptions, please
contact us for more information.

Requirements for an Entry Visa to Ethiopia :

• A passport valid for a min. of 6 months from the date of intended arrival in Ethiopia
  (with at least one blank page available).
• One Visa Application Form, filled out, dated and signed by the applicant (parents
  must sign for minors under 18 years old).
• One recent passport size photo (2" x 2").
• A copy of round-trip ticket or a booked itinerary showing travel to and from Ethiopia .
• If Applying for Business Visa, must attach a Letter from the Company for which you are
  making the trip.
• International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever must present upon arrival.
• A filled out & signed Service Order Form.
• A Prepaid Return FedEx Airbill, if you want your visa mailed back to you.

The Consulate may request additional information/documentation as deemed necessary.

Once you have the above documents in order please call us prior to sending documents. Make
payment to Trip Explorer and send a Pre-paid return FedEx Airbill or appropriate fee .
